In other copper-based preservation methods copper is dissolved in chemicals while in this method copper is driven into the wood as a metal. This process is highly effective and the wood properties and heightened. The wood products protected using this method last longer.
The micronized copper preservative has proven to be highly effective in protecting the wood against fungal decay and termites. Unlike other methods of treatment this method is not corrosive. When you use this method to treat wood, then you will not need to worry for at least ten years.
